I tend to expect the worst when it comes to the production quality of shoujo adaptations these days. The last one that really stung was Nina the Starry Bride. While this isn't amazing, it looks like a solid production so far. I like how the manga's character designs are translated. I'll definitely check out the premiere!

I can't wait to see the sheer joy these two take in eating monster meat and flirting with each other in animated form.
Also Ryohei Kimura really keeps getting cast in these kinds of roles.
