Personally, this looks to be much more in the spirit of the style of Monster Hunter I prefer than Wilds wound up being. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a microtransaction nightmare. It's a shame there only seems to be mention of mobile devices so far, as that's likely going to make this inaccessible for 80% of the playerbase.
