So is this the actual final season, or is this an Attack on Titan situation where it's like the final season part 1 of 10 or something? I've just been holding off on continuing the series until it finishes after watching roughly the first 50 episodes a long time ago.

Final fr. Manga only has 30ish SHORT chapters left. Just enough for 10 - 12 eps. If you're gonna binge, bear with S5. Its production got ruined by Covid so its pacing was slow. S6 to the final season is peak, imo.
