Worth mentioning that while the series was in hiatus, Daiki Ihara made two series for Weekly Shōnen Jump: Protect me, Shugomaru, and, later on, Yokai Buster Murakami. None of them were a success.
I think that Shueisha thought that they do not need two OP spin-off/parody series (Academia dnd Koisuru), specially when Koisuru sales were never great. |
