Not surprised that KPop Demon Hunters would win this (10 awards is just wow!!!). But I can understand why no anime win, it's getting more competitive for anime and American and western animation to be competing on the global level.

While I wish that maybe some anime had made a better showing, KPDH winning awards is still an overall good for the animation industry in my book. For any faults it may have, it's still doing a lot of things different, which is better than just giving it to whatever award shows featuring animation categories usually do, which is "just give it to whatever Disney and/or Pixar did this year".

Other notable winners on the TV side of things: Common Side Effects was the night’s big winner - Best TV/Media – Mature Series, direction, writing, and editorial. Both Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots and Pixar’s Win or Lose scored three TV prizes.
KPDH is also getting a physical media release via Criterion Collection, alongside Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming Frankenstein, another Netflix original. Both are among the most acclaimed and most streamed films of 2025 and are Oscar contenders.
Huntr/x also performed in the British BAFTA Awards -- their first performance outside America -- despite not being eligible |

I just got an email newsletter this morning from Animation Magazine, and saw this: Netflix’s ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ & ‘Frankenstein’ Coming to Criterion Collection
That's right, Criterion is adding KPop Demon Hunters into their collection. That's really prestigious right here. From the article below:
