Maybe, just maybe, if they make their contents available in other regions so people can buy it, there wouldn't have been as much pirated contents as right now? Just saying 🤷‍♂️. I cannot understand why they are so focused on piracy rather than making their service better.

Piracy is very often a service issue.

The creators will fail and even if they shut down all the piracy sites, a lot will just stop reading. Either way the greedy creators will lose.

Service issue.
This almost feels like they don't want people to read their works, and them doing their best to prevent them from reading them, no matter the cost... I wonder, how much has this program of them cost, and how much were they actually losing per country... I bet you they don't even know, and they're likely dumping millions for nothing.
Just publish your works elsewhere, and use ad revenue for countries where most people can't pay for entertainment and only pirate for a lack of resources.
Be smart guys, it's not hard... ah, but the greed, yes, indeed, the greed of trying to squeeze out where there might not even be nothing.

Ranting aside, I'm not even sure what all these webtoons are like nowadays, kinda stopped caring about manhwa... or was it manhua? When most of the titles I enjoyed stopped being published for several reasons, and the format was changed to the longstrip annoyance. Regis? gone, The Breaker? Over, and a bunch of others I really liked simply stopped publication... all the new stuff has been miles below, even the oh so great Solo Leveling was mid at best, though it did have pretty cool moments, but the format was horrible, and I want to read on paper or a large screen, not a phone, geez.
Guess I'm sticking with manga

Well, good luck blocking all pirates sites, I hope you succeed, but I wonder who will popularize your titles from then on...? I am genuinely curious
