Your article on him said that he was influenced by rebel without a cause and space odessy 2001, I was just wondering where the information was obtained from because I need to find details about influences on him and secondly do you know if there where any particular artist that influenced him?
The reason why I am asking is because I am currently doing a module at Uni and I choose Akira as one of my favorite products and we then have to do influences to that product (i.e. influences to Akira) and I currently got Post Apocalyptic Sci Fi genre and Cyberpunk Genre. I was then told too look for an artist that may of influenced him but I cant find any. And I also would list influences stated on wikipedia but the University frown upon wikipedia being used as a resource tool because it is not verified by a academic. I will be grateful for any answers |

I would imagine that the university in question also frowns on having its students publicly display the grammar, orthography and composition skills of a not very gifted fourteen-year-old.
