simple bleach manga ?

my ? is, im wanting to get back into the manga but when i went to the store today , i was quite overwhelmed at how many there were. can anyone tell me around what chapter is the current anime based on?

The anime in the U.S is currently on about volume 10, I believe. I'm not sure what chapter it is at. Edit - Well, after checking my volume 10, and based on what I know of where the anime is at in the U.S. and Canda, the anime is around chapters 86-90, which would be the end of volume 10 or the beginning of volume 11.

The anime in Japan is somewhere in the early 200s, but the U.S. manga hasn't gotten that far yet.

bleach is a great series, and its only 7.95, if its
something you can afford you might like to get
the whole series. it is really good!! buy i understand
after iv seen the anime it takes the suspense away
alittle, but every time i reread a volume i find something
new!

Volume 17, actually. Don't know exactly what chapter, but the last thing that happened in it was spoiler[the battle between Kempachi and Tosen, while Rukia's execution was just about to start. ]

In exact chapters, the Japanise is at chapter 266.

What? The U.S. anime hasn't gotten anywhere near that point. They still have another 25-30 episodes to go before they get there.

And the Japanese anime is still in the early 200s of the manga. 266 may be were the Japanese manga is at, but the anime hasn't reached that point yet.

thanks all, at the time what i meant to say was, i watch the subs of bleach and i wanned to know what manga chapter the current JP anime was at. but i found it. thanks people

I see. You're talking about the anime, not the manga. Sorry about that.

In that case, yeah, you're about right about where they are in the U.S. version. Same for the Japanise version.
