I was wondering if anyones seen it and how it is. It looks cool and the box set at best buy is like 40-50. Is it worth it.

Yes, I bought it a couple weeks ago and it is INDEED a great bargain!
It comes with all 4 DVDs, two soundtracks (one for the TV series and one for the first movie), trading card type things, pencil boards, and not to mention the box is really nicetoo. Buy it at Best Buy :D

I think the boxset that you are seeing at Best Buy is the "Best Sessions" set, which is only 6 episodes of the 26 episode series.

You're talking about Cowboy Bebop. The thread is about Boogiepop Phantom, which is only 12 episodes.

I loved Boogipop Phantom, but it's not for all. It's sort of along the lines of lain, but no where near as confusing. For that price though, I'd say it's really worth it.

Nope, the live action movie from Japan isn't out here yet as far as I can tell, but you can buy it import, or try and look around for a fansub.

Boogiepop Live action movie is indeed fansubbed, but pretty hard to find.
[EDIT - Fansub URL removed -C]
