Delay in Rah Xephon DVD 7

What is the story with Rah Xephon's final DVD? It had a street date of 12-2-03. It is now a week later and NOBODY has it (it's all either preorder or backorder).
I have not seen any news about it, does anybody on the ANN staff know anything.
This is indeed strange, ADV has been really good with their releases, so what happened here?

I originally ordered this one from amazon, and it got delayed a bit. So I canceled that order and ended up picking up the disc at suncoast. It was there on the release date, and they had quite a few copies. The disc is out there, I guess Amazon just under ordered.

I have the same problem. According to Best Buy.com, there are two Best Buys in my "local" area that has it in stock: One 97 miles away, the other 127 miles away. Which is better than a few days ago when it wasn't available within 500 miles of me. Evil or Very Mad

EDIT: Its the same with Witch Hunter Robin volume 2.

Its probably because of all the dumbbutts buying Christmas presents the day after Thanksgiving slowing everything down.

Whoa, so I wasn't the only one to notice this? I finally found RahXephon 7 at Mediaplay on Dec 7, but before that nobody had it. Same with Banner of the Stars II vol 3. I still have not found Witch Hunter Robin vol 2 nor Pretear.

Damn, so Suncoast and Media Play are the only ones who are carrying it?
That sucks.
I ordered Rah Xephon 7 along with WHR from Animecastle.com, and still waiting for when it comes in. I checked ADV's website and there is no mention of the delay, so what is the freaking hold up?
