He just updated his blog with a story about how he had to go to the hospital, because he hurt his back, due to the drawing posture he used. That guy must really love Vagabond.

Oh geez, that's terrible.
 I hear about cartoonists getting back and hand problems all the time, and I worry about it happening to me at some point down the road. All I know is, my right index and middle fingers won't straighten anymore and are swollen because of all my drawing, and I'm seeing the doctor next week. I hope Inoue feels better.

Sounds like he pulled a muscle.You can get it by just sitting or standing wrong,happens all the time.I got out of work one day,I was exiting the building when I collapsed.I couldn't move my lower torso at all.I was pissed.I'm not weak though.I dragged myself over to my truck,got in,adjusted my legs with my arms and drove home.It took a hellishly long week to resuscitate my legs but I did.I'm twice as strong now.These stupid things happen,but I just laugh and keep going.
That's strange that hard bread would trigger it for Inoue.He was probably thinking "Why me"? |
