I saw that Digital Manga Publishing co-published Berserk with Dark Horse, so if I bought it from DMP, then the cover would be the same as the ones I purchased from Dark Horse, right?
Also, any clarity as to what DMP is all about would be nice to know. thanks. |

I checked both wikipedia and their website, and still don't have a clear picture on what they do, but here's their page for Berserk volume 1, so you can compare covers.
I was almost thinking, from their name, that they did e-books, but that one is clearly physical media. |

As far as I can tell, they're a manga publisher, with a number of different imprints, (DokiDoki, June, 801 etc) but they also run eManga Akadot Retail, Yaoi Club, Pop Japan Travel and Dream Shoppe as seperate businesses. Recently, they've also set up the Digital Manga guild, which is basically legal scanlations, as they're getting fans to translate, edit and letter titles which are then sold for digital release. The fan teams which work on them get some of the profit.
They also co published Hellsing with Dark Horse, as far as I know. |
