Each of the comis is four panels, they have a title at the top and you read from the top down, it's really pretty simple. And occasionally there are special comic strips that are read like normal manga.

And unless ADV flipped the manga (which I hear they didn't), the speech bubbles are still read from right to left. So it's right column top-down, left column top-down, speech bubbles right-left.

Yeah, the weird layout threw me off at first. I'm not quite sure what to think about it...

Same here. I had no idea that this was a manga with just comic strips. I got the hang of it after awhile though. I think it's a great, if not funny manga.
p.s. liancoop, love your Kakashi avatar! So hip!

Yea that format took a bit to get used to, but it works for that series. Especially since each strip has nothing to do with the next.
I still love that tye died cat that is chiyo-chan's "dad"

The four panel thing reminds me of when I read "Go Domon!" shorts at the end of most GW mangas... and they also used the four panel thing...

Er...The fact is that this style is better for AzuDai for one reason. Every four panels is a separated idea and you're supposed to laugh in the end of all of them. Pretty sure that some of them are funnier than others...However, it's also great^^.

In the six or seven months since this thread was last posted in, she kinda changed it.
Please don't revive old threads. Especially old threads that have long-since served their purpose.
