I'm looking for some more good animes to watch.

I have no idea why you posted it twice, but anyway here goes...
Cowboy Bebop Neon Genesis Evangelion Gundam 0083 and if you want a whole series for 60 bucks, Bubble Gum Crisis Tokyo 2040 was pretty cool (NOTE: it is $59.99 at Best Buy). By the way, Lord B, nice scan of the old Mr. T comic! |

If you haven't seen Tenchi Muyo (OAV's), watch those. The series really rejuvenated the exotic girlfriend genre. Or, watch Urasei Yatsura, which birthed the genre.
Bubblegum Crisis 2040 is a good suggestion, but watch Bubblegum Crisis first. I generally prefer its style and storyline to the successor. But, you might be put off by the older animation. Also, Gunsmith Cats or Riding Bean is good stuff. In fact, anything by or with Kenichi Sonoda is good stuff. Watch Vampire Hunter D and/or Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. God those are gorgeous films. Both have set animation standards within their time. Gundam, Gundam, Gundam. Watch some Gundam. Some of the alternate timeline series are easier to pick up on than some of the UC series. But watch both types, or you'll miss out on some cool stuff either way. Gundam Wing is pretty easy to pick up on, but not simplified or dumbed-down. Plus it probably has the most style of any Gundam series. Mobile Suit Gundam 0079, 0080: War in the Pocket, 0083: Stardust Memories, and 08th MS Team are must sees from the UC side of things. Again, I hope older animation doesn't turn you off. Trigun is stellar good, and very orginal to boot. I haven't even seen knock-offs of it. Macross Plus, good stuff there. Outlaw Star is nice, and was written by Hajime Yadate, who wrote Cowboy Bebop. So you already know you like his ideas. In fact, Gundam (especially Wing), Outlaw Star, Big O, and Cowboy Bebop were all Yadate created. Did I mention Big O is good stuff too? It is. At first it seems like Batman with a robot, but when you watch it more closely, you find a ton of depth. I have more, but I'm probably boring you to tears. So I'll end with this suggestion.... watch Project A-ko. It've yet to meet someone who doesn't love it. |

*raises her hand* I HATE Project A-Ko. It's on my "Anime I Don't Like" list. But you made me remember that I complately forgot to put GunSmith Cats on my list  Rally rules!!

My advice?
Put down those VHS tapes and DVDs! Go buy Lone Wolf and Cub manga instead! Great samurai action and storytelling without any of the generic and run-into-the-ground anime/manga cliches and cheese! |

YES. The live-action movies are pretty groovy too, in their own way. Best damn thing I've heard in these routine "WHAT R YUR FAVORITES ^____^" forums in a while. |

It's really hard to say without knowing what type of stuff you like, Unless you're like me and will watch anything, then that's easy.
Since you said you like Cowboy Bebop then give Outlaw Star (and it's spin off Angel Links), and Trigun a try. List some of the other stuff you've seen and I can probably list you a bunch of shows to keep you busy. Emerje |

i dunno, i saw that in 2 magazines, and thought it was pretty fuuny. well, most of the shows i would have suggested have alrdy been posted. i also like: fist of the north star akira (i love this movie) i've heard the escaflowne movie is pretty good, and i've also read that End of Evangelion is a great movie. Makes you think and go wow =D |
