Quite sad to hear about his passing, especially at the young age of just 37. His masterpieces Eve and especially YU-NO are still among the best that the eroge industry has to offer, despite their creation dating back to the mid 1990's, and they will be remembered long after his untimely death. This happened only months after Ryu Umemoto, who composed the outstanding BGM for both titles, passed away as well.

Same age as me...
YU-NO is still one of the best adventure games of all time.

I don't know anything about his games, but that's way too young for anyone to pass away. Sad

Wow, that's some news. I remember YU-NO and from what I heard about it from fans in passing it was a game they really enjoyed. I never saw it in action personally but I do remember the anime that came after. It was definitely one of those eroge titles of it's time.
