Something tells me I shouldn't be asking, but here goes:
Where AnimeBoston is coming in April, I was thinking of going in costume. A couple of questions:
1. Is it alright to change once I get there (there is no way I'll wear a panda costume on the train. I'll be shot dead before I reach the green line.)?
2. Where is a good place (around Boston) to find the material for a heavy duty panda suit for a rather overweight person?
3. Seeing as I'm planning on going as Genma in panda form, would a dry erase board be acceptable for the signs he pulls out of nowhere? I was going to try to put together a vox translator board, but the electronics needed won't fit in anything I could carry.
This would be my first time making a costume, so any help given would be appreciated. Thanks.

JoAnne's! That place has mad fabric. I got the perfect fabric for my Kiki costume there! And it's not too expensive, either! We always check the bargain bins for savings. Maybe you can check costume stores for a panda-like suit, that you can just cover with fabric. And dry erase board is good, seeing how you don't want to waste paper!
