Not by Funimation. I think by Ocean Group or Geneon Entertainment. Im not sure but the English translation for this movie is old, probly from 90's but not by Funimation. It uses original Japanese soundtrack but English audio. If anyone can help me find these rare copy, it would appreciate it alot.

Thanks

I have no idea what version it was, but I did find one of the Cooler movies at Big Lots, of all places. You might try there.

The 'not Funi' thing throws me though- I didn't think any other company ever released DBZ in the US. Even the old edited videos I got in high school were Funi releases. *shrugs*

Actually there was, it was released in VHS format and from what i remember, the script is very different. I just can't stand the Funi ones, they use too much metal soundtrack and the script is very lame, "You hurt innocent people, what have they done to you" urggg

They did release the first three DBZ movies in unedited format on VHS that had the Japanese music with English audio. They were released by Pioneer, but they never released any beyond the first three. Maybe there were releases outside the US that included the later movies (like the AB Groupe releases featuring the infamous "Big Green" dub), but the US only got the first three in that format.
