Hi!
I have a question! Is it safe to buy a DVD volume 1 with a collector's box now? I am little worried that there might be a complete boxed set with huge discount at the end of the series' release. Or is it my only chance to get a box for the series now since it is limited edition collector's box and there won't be a complete boxed set release? I am talking about titles like: X Hellsing Berserk Love Hina Vandred These are being released with a collector's box with DVD volume 1 right? I guess this is a new trend now to release a box even before all the DVDs get released. Does anybody have any thoughts?

I guess it depends on how badly you want to see the series. If you can afford to wait, you can just chill out and wait and see if they release a bigger box. Otherwise, I'd just buy the first DVD and box, and buy the volumes as they come out. This way, it might be more expensive, but you'd have the pleasure of watching the episodes and adding them to your collection as they become available.

Most of the time, when they package the first volume with a box they have no intention of releasing a box set with all the DVDs in it.

sometimes the collector's boxes also have added incentives, just look at all the shtuff that's coming with .hack//SIGN dvd1

The OST bundled with the box set is cool, but I already bought it!!! I still want to get the box set though... oh well... at least I got the first pressing CD that came with a mousepad... Mimiru... |
