Bebop is not discontinued. Infact, I think the DVDs are doing very well for Bandai Ent, even now, four years after they came out.

As to another boxset, recently a new, 5.1 version of the series was announced to come out in a box set in Japan. So if Bandai does decide to make another box set (they made a limited edition one back in 2001), or re-release the series in any way, I'd prefer if they used those masters for it.

Oh, yea I'm sure they'll milk it for another DVD release, especially if its been released in 5.1 in Japan.

So you guys are just now getting it in the UK, 6 years after it aired, and 4 years after it was released in the US?

Yeah ¬_¬ the uk has a habit of being the last to know anything.

Example-
Tony Blair: "No weapons of mass destruction have been found"

That was obviusly an automated robotic reply, and it's no proof that they arnt going to bring out a new box set tomorow. They never tell their robots what their doing, and that means they wouldent tell us. Just because they say they dont plan on it doesent me a thing, companies do this all the time.

If they are still making loads off Cowboy Bebop, theres no reason to not re-release the series in suround sound
