It should be noted that the original novels were also written by the original writer. He sometimes uses the Midori Kuriyama name, which has been long confirmed to be him. Seems to be mostly the Shoujo stuff he uses the name for, from what I can tell. This isn't unusual for men or women to use pen names when writing shoujo or shounen works, respectfully, but it was odd given he got credited under both for the Main Series.
Maybe just wanted to make it seem like he wrote less? |
