Thanks so much for posting this window into what it's like there. I hope I'll get to see it one day.

The photo pose area is really neat, and I'm not even a souvenir photo pose kind of person. The Ponyo one with all the fish is super eye catching. Though I'm not gonna lie... kinda surprised that the pose for Mononoke was holding the disembodied head.

Does it have any rides though? Otherwise seeing a few photos on the internet could be considered having the same experience of being there. Rolling Eyes

Well, as noted in the article, there are several sights and sections where cameras are prohibited. (And having the park in an actual park drives home a point: a photo of a tree doesn't compare to lying under its shade.)

Think of it as the Louvre for all things Ghibli, only probably nicer and more fun.
