Awesome news - can't wait for this. Slightly sad to hear it won't be coming out until next year but I wasn't expecting anything this year to be honest. And this should hopefully shut up all the people moaning about how long it's taking to get to the Phoenix.

To be fair, it has taken an abnormally long amount of time in the anime for this mythical creature to appear.

My problem with the last couple of seasons is that they meandered way too much on poorly paced side quests. I think the lore of this series is too dense; certainly they don't build it up nearly as expertly as, say, Overlord or Mushoku Tensie. Too many characters, too many plots, too much everything. The show just seemed all over the map.
This trailer seems to be to finally be a bit more focused. I hope that's true, because this is probably the last chance they'll have to rebuild my interest in the series.
