Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) opened a teaser website for new horror title on Friday. The website began streaming a five-second video with a timestamp that shows a dark room. The first video showed five-seconds of the dark room from 05:55:51 to 05:55:55, and the new video shows 04:44:40 to 04:44:44. The website will post a new video every day through April 13, except for Saturday and Sunday.

The video game developer opened a separate teaser website on March 27 and revealed the Hakoniwa Company Works simulation role-playing game for PlayStation 4 on Thursday. NIS also opened different teaser sites in January to announce its new Tsuihō Senkyo (Exile Election) adventure game, which will ship on April 27.

The developer is best known for the Disgaea game series. The company has also developed the La Pucelle: Tactics, Phantom Brave, and The Guided Fate Paradox (Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei no Paradox) games. Some of the company's most recent titles include the A Rose in the Twilight (Rose to Tasogare no Kojō) puzzle platforming game and the Shin Hayarigami 2 horror adventure game, which shipped last year. NIS developed the Yomawari PlayStation Vita horror game and released it in Japan in October 2015. The game then shipped for PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe and launched worldwide for PC via Steam last October.
