Beginning serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 2012, HAIKYU!!, created by Haruichi Furudate, is a highly renowned title within the sports manga genre that gathered popularity with its depiction of the youthful passion of high school students giving their all to volleyball.
A total of 45 volumes were published over the course of 8 and a half years until finally reaching a conclusion in July 2020 with over 70 million copies currently sold. Starting in 2014, the TV animation series was broadcasted on TBS TV by Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) until December 2020, resulting in a total of 4 seasons created for the series.
Then came February 16, 2024. HAIKYU!! made its return with a movie!! The movie depicts the epic match between Karasuno High School and Nekoma High School, one of the most popular arcs from the original series. Otherwise known as "The Dumpster Battle".
Now, a match where there are no "second chances" is about to begin...
