Angels of Death Anime Listed With 16 Episodes

posted on by Karen Ressler

The official website for J.C. Staff's anime of the Angels of Death (Satsuriku no Tenshi) game unveiled information on the show's home video releases on Friday. The website lists four home video releases, each with four episodes, for a total of 16 episodes.

The anime will premiere on AT-X on July 6 at 8:30 p.m., before airing later that evening on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, Sun TV, and BS11. The show will later air on TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu. The anime will stream in Japan on Amazon Prime Video. Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide outside of Asia and German-speaking territories, and Funimation will stream a simuldub.

Yen Press is releasing artist Kudan Nazuka and author Makoto Sanada's manga adaptation in English, and it describes the story:

Most girls waking up without any memory and meeting a serial killer would panic, but not Ray. In fact, far from being her biggest problem, killer Zack might just prove a convenient resource when it comes to finding a way out of the building in which they're both trapped!

Kentarō Suzuki (MARGINAL #4 the Animation) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff, and Yoshinobu Fujioka (Requiem from the Darkness, Sadako, Tomie: Forbidden Fruit) is in charge of the series scripts. Miki Matsumoto is serving as both character designer and chief animation director.
