The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Gekijō Climax Season Premieres on April 2

The official website for the television anime of Bandai Namco Entertainment and Kuma-Jet's The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Gekijō (The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Theater) manga announced on Monday that The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Gekijō Climax Season will premiere on Tokyo MX and BS11 on April 2 at 9:54 p.m. The anime will then premiere on Saga TV later than night and on AT-X on April 5.

The season's announcement visual (seen right) shows the new characters Kako Takafuji, Hikaru Nanjō, Hinako Kita, and Hotaru Shiragiku, and it also teases that "something's different" about the new season.

Mankyū (PUCHIM@S, Donyatsu, DD Fist of the North Star, Mobile Suit Gundam-san) is returning from the third season to direct and supervise the series scripts at the studio Gathering. The returning cast includes Ayaka Ōhashi as Uzuki Shimamura, Ayaka Fukuhara as Rin Shibuya, and Sayuri Hara as Mio Honda. The episode will still be five minutes long, but further broadcast and streaming details have yet to be determined.

The first 13-episode anime season of five-minute shorts premiered in Japan in April 2017. Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan. The second season premiered in October 2017, and Crunchyroll streamed the series outside of Japan. The third season premiered this past July, and Crunchyroll streamed the series outside of Japan.
