Trivia:

All the princes are named after cars manufacturers: Cayenne's name is taken from the Porche Cayenne, Romeo's name is taken from Alfa Romeo car manufacturer, Levin take his name from the Toyota Corolla Levin, Soarer take his name from the Toyota Soarer and Miura take his name from the Lamborghini Miura.

In episode 3, Ruby calls herself "Rubelberg" while cheering Momona up, a pun of the last name of the director Steven Spielberg.

In episode 3, the task that the Ladies and Princes were trying to pass is about acting Romeo & Juliet.

In episode 10, Momona herself, has performed the final position of the fusion technique from Akira Toriyama's "Dragon Ball Z" to convince Charon and Mizuki for jogging.

The crown shown in episode 11 in the Jewel Museum is the same crown used by Princess Mana in Jewelpet the Movie: Sweets Dance Princess. However that the crown is unnamed in the movie, the anime refers it as the "Mascaron Tiara".

The Miura's first appearance in episode 15 seems to be taken from that one of Accelerator from "A Certain Magical Index".

In episode 18, Ruby pulled out a wooden door out of nowhere during the ladies first practice. This is a shoutout to the famous Dokodemo door (Anywhere Door) from Fujiko Fujio's manga, Doraemon.

In episode 19, the masked phantom is based from the character of "Scary Movie".

In episode 21, both Lillian and Romeo did a piano-violin duet to calm the attendees of the Jewel Festival during a blackout. Miura stated that the move is similar to the Musicians of the RMS Titanic, who played music, intending to calm the passengers, for as long as they possibly could and all went down with the ship.

Romeo's reaction after eating Charon's Lunch in episode 25 is itself a tribute to the taste reactions in the Manga "Yakitate!! Japan".

A shout-out from the anime "Juusen Battle Monsuno" is seen in episode 29, when Labra turn into a giant bear resembles "Lock", because of Luea's magic.

In episode 46, Joker is represented like the guilty figure from Gosho Aoyama's "Detective Conan".
