Trivia:

In ep 3, Toshio's funny pose "Syeeeeee!" is from Iyami from "Osomatsu-kun"(#1508).

Achara’s name is Thai for “angel”. It is also a name of a pickle made from grated unripe papayas, a dish that is popular within the Philippines. This dish is often served as a side dish for fried or grilled foods such as pork barbecue.

In episode 1, Shippo from “Inuyasha” can be seen falling out of the closet when Yuko retrieves her son's elephant toy.

In episode 3, Toshio's funny pose "Syeeeeee!" is based on Iyami's pose from the "Osomatsu-kun" manga and anime series.

In episode 3, Minoru‘s baseball jersey has the words “Yunkeye 55”(New York Yankees) on the front and “Matsui 55” on the back. This is referring to Hideki Matsui who had just started playing for the New York Yankees when this episode first aired. He was part of the team for the next six years until he switched to playing for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for one year.

In episode 9, Ichiro imagines him and Hitomi riding on a magic carpet while dress up as Aladdin and Jasmine from Disney’s Aladdin.

In episode 10, the lower half of Shippo from “Inuyasha” can be found at the city land fill.

In episode 13, Inuyasha and Kagome make cameos as bystanders.
