Look Back (movie)

The pick axe massacre is based on the Kyoto Animation arson attack. On July 18, 2019, Shinji Aoba, an unemployed man who falsely accused the animation studio of plagiarism, traveled to Kyoto and set the Studio 1 building on fire, killing 36 people and injuring 34, including himself before his arrest. On January 5, 2024, Aoba was sentenced to death.
