Trivia:

The stage musical is based on events leading to the 1991 Sprinters' Stakes.

Daitaku Helios' racing costume uses the blue and yellow colors of the racing silk worn by the jockeys that raced with the real racehorse (1987-2008), who won 10 races in his 35-race career from 1989 to 1991.

Yamanin Zephyr (1988-2017) won eight races in his 20-race career from 1991 to 1993.

Daiichi Ruby (1987-2007) won six races in her 18-race career from 1990 to 1992.

K.S. Miracle (1988-1991) won five races in his 10-race career in 1991. At the 1991 Sprinters' Stakes, he was at the front pack before the final stretch when he suddenly stopped and withdrew from the race, having sustained a compound fracture on his left front leg. Due to the severity of the injury, race officials had no choice but to euthanize K.S. Miracle on the spot.

The Uma Musume Pretty Derby logo for this play features a silhouette of Daitaku Helios.

Haruna Fukushima plays one of the background characters in this musical. In 2024, she was cast as Dantsu Flame in the film Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era and the Uma Musume Pretty Derby video game.
