Trivia:

The middle part of Episode 23 looks like a scene from Dawn of the Dead, where the characters are stuck in a supermarket while zombies roam outside. (The supermarket premises look identical, and they also came in a huge truck.)

Only during the duel episodes Hime is called by her name "Lilyanne" instead of what she likes to be called "Hime" (princess). And only her brother calls her so.

The text shown in the background of the OP "That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange eons even death may die" is part of the Cthulhu Mythos from H.P Lovecraft

In episode 4, right after Liza blasts past on the jet ski, Hime is reading a book with the heading of 'Captain Log of Obed Marsh'. This is a reference to the Cthulhu Mythos from H.P Lovecraft, it deals with a giant sea monster and hostile merpeople, both of which make appearances later in the episode.

In Episode 13, the village they visit, some of the buildings in the village, and the involvement of deaths surrounding a dam all refer to Hinamizawa Village from "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni"

In episode 24 during Oujo's trial, we can notice a few guest appearances in the audience. The audience shot with Hikoro (catgirl) sitting in the crowd has three monsters with a striking resemblance to Darth Maul (right of vampire), Sand people (left of vampire), and Jar Jar Binx (behind vampire) from Star Wars.
