Fans can acquire Hetalia - Axis Powers themed items for in-game avatar
On Friday, the online multiplayer social networking game TinierMe launched a new collaborative campaign with North American anime distributor Funimation to advertise the anime series Hetalia - Axis Powers. As part of the collaboration, users can spend "G-Coins" to play a virtual gashapon (capsule toy dispenser) machine which gives them in-game items that they can place on their avatars. G-Coins can either be earned by completing sponsor's offers or purchased with money.
The TinierMe site has hosted similar promotional campaigns in the past, such as a Miku Hatsune campaign with Crypton Future Media last July, and a Black Butler campaign with Funimation last October.
