Mikubook.com Social Networking Site Launched

Hiroyuki Itōh, the CEO of the virtual idol Hatsune Miku's developer Crypton Future Media, and Tokyo Kawaii Magazine Editor Toshihiro Fukuoka announced the Friday launch of the Mikubook.com website at the "Miku Keynote" panel at Anime Expo.
The social networking site allows users to recommend videos, illustrations, and music to their followers, with an emphasis on the Vocaloid phenomenon of user-created music and other content. Users can also connect with other people with the "fave" feature. The panelists say that people can "easily" log into the website via their Facebook or Twitter ID accounts. However, the panelists cautioned that the current release is a very early beta version, since they only started developing this site one month ago.
