4th in puzzle game series is prequel which will ship for DS in U.S. in October
The entertainment news website IGN is streaming a 76-second English-language trailer for Professor Layton and the Last Specter, the fourth title in Level-5's Professor Layton puzzle game series. It will be released in the United States on October 17 on the Nintendo DS. The game is a prequel, set before the previous three games.
Meanwhile, the American distributor Warner Home Video scheduled Viz Media's DVD release of the Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva film, a spinoff from the game series, for November 8. The DVD with English and Japanese soundtracks has a suggested retail price of US$19.97. Viz is also streaming a trailer.
