Newest Legend of Heroes Tops Weekly Chart with 127,938

Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme, Eva: Sound Impact sell 82,901 & 16,477

All versions of Nihon Falcom's Eiyū Densetsu: Ao no Kiseki (The Legend of Heroes: Blue Trails), including the limited editions, sold 127,938 copies to land at No. 1 on Media Create's Japanese consumer game ranking chart for the week ending on October 2. The PSP role-playing game is the latest installment in the third Legend of Heroes series.



Koei Tecmo Games' Shin Sangoku Musou 6: Moushou-Den (also known as Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends outside Japan) also debuted this past week at No. 2. The PlayStation 3 action game sold 82,901 copies.

Bandai Namco Games' Evangelion Shin Gekijōban: Sound Impact sold 16,477 games at No. 5. Grasshopper Interactive developed this PSP musical rhythm game based on the new Evangelion films.

From Software's Dark Souls game for the PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii port of the Famicom & Super Famicom Dragon Quest I, II, III video game collection stayed in the top 5. Dark Souls added 34,718 copies to its total of 314,286, while Square Enix's Dragon Quest collection sold 16,298 more copies for a new total of 334,472.
