Katamari Damacy No-Vita's Newest Promo Streamed

The Gamer.ne.jp website began streaming the latest promotional video for Namco Bandai Games' Katamari Damacy No-Vita game on Tuesday. The game will be one of the launch titles for the PlayStation Vita system in Japan on December 17.
Like in the previous games, the player rolls the Katamari ball to collect items and make the ball bigger. Unlike in the previous games, players can use the PS Vita's front and rear touch panels instead of buttons to move the ball. Players can also use the touch panels to "stretch" or "shrink" the Katamari ball. By expanding the ball, the player can collect a lot more material on open plains. On the flip side, the player can make the ball narrower to navigate alleyways for items.
The video notes that the player can collect and change costumes for the King of All Cosmos, download more stages, and listen to songs by popular artists. Shigeru Matsuzaki (Cobra The Animation, Nerima Daikon Brothers) sang the theme song "Kamatari on the Stage" in the video.
