Shin Megami Tensei IV Video Highlights Equipment Choices

The official website for Shin Megami Tensei IV Nintendo 3DS game updated with a new streaming video on Friday. The 30-second video previews equipment options and how they change the character's appearance.

In the game the 18-year-old protagonist becomes a "samurai," a group that hunts demons. Cast members for the game include Hiroshi Kamiya (Nisemonogatari's Araragi) as Jonathan, Shintarou Oohata (Beck's Chiba, Innocent Venus' Kyoushirou) as Navarre, Miyuki Sawashiro (Persona 3's Elizabeth and Chidori) as Isabeau, and Katsuyuki Konishi (Tales of Symphonia's Lloyd) as Walter. Other voices include Kazuya Nakai, Atsuko Tanaka, Yūko Kaida, Marina Inoue, Kazuhiro Yamaji, Junpei Morita, Hazumi Goda, Houchu Ohtsuka, and Jouji Nakata.

Kazuma Kaneko is in charge of the original scenario and series demon design, and Kazuyuki Yamai is directing the game. Masayuki Doi is handling the character design and Ryota Kozuka will serve as the sound composer.

The game will ship in Japan on May 23 for 6,980 yen (US$75). Customers who pre-order the game will receive a “sound & art collection” for the game. The game is also getting a limited-edition themed Nintendo 3DS XL in Japan.
