The World's First Official Hello Kitty Convention is Coming to LA

After 40 years of making friends all over the world, Hello Kitty is finally getting her own official convention.

Hello Kitty Con 2014 will take place at the Geffen Contemporary at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Downtown LA's Little Tokyo. The event will feature "interactive experiences and events for fans and friends of all ages, including activities, art, exhibits, exclusives, workshops, lectures, panels, sneak peeks, tattoos, food, fun, and many more surprises!"

The event will take place from October 30 to November 2, with adult tickets costing $30/day and child tickets costing $20/day. Children ages 5 and under will be admitted for free.
