Bandai Releases New Line of Sailor Moon Earrings

One of the reasons that Sailor Moon has become such a popular series is the fact that each character has unique and distinctive characteristics. From their personalities, to their powers, to their costume designs, each and every aspect of each of the Sailor Guardians is carefully planned. Now, thanks to Bandai's latest line of Sailor Moon-based accessories, you can recreate the same unique fashionability of the four Inner Sailor Guardians.
From the same lineup that brought us this recreation of Sailor Moon's iconic Silver Crystal Brooch comes the "Crystal Makeup Jewelry" Sailor Senshi earrings. Each of the four additions to the lineup are perfect replicas of the iconic earrings worn by the four Inner Sailor Senshi. It includes Sailor Mercury's "Mercury Blue Topaz Earrings" for 12,960 yen (about US $109.58), Sailor Venus's "Venus Carnelian Earrings" for 9,720 yen (about US $82.19), Sailor Mars's "MARS RED Thunder Earrings" for 12,960 yen (about US $109.58), and Sailor Jupiter's "Jupiter Pink Rose Earrings" for (about US $100.46).
While the price tag may seem a little steep, these accessories are definitely made for fans that can appreciate the glamor of being a Sailor Guardian, or at least those who really want the perfect cosplay outfit. The setting part of the the earrings are each made up of about 92.5% 925 silver. Sailor Mercury's and Sailor Venus's earrings are made with the actual precious stones listed in their names. Bandai has already begun taking preorders for the earrings, which will be available in January of 2015, via the Premium Bandai store.
