Hatsune Miku and Shiteyanyo Goods Make Their Way to Arcades

posted on by Bamboo Dong

Taito's Hatsune Miku x Shiteyanyo prize campaign is giving arcade-goers two chances to nab bizarre merchandise featuring Miku and her strange leggy pal.

The campaign features two sets of merchandise. The mini-figurines are currently available in arcades throughout Japan, with the Miku x Shiteyanyo plush keychains to follow in March.

Shiteyanyo originated in 2010 when pivix user Ryūsei drew a parody Miku character, which immediately became a viral sensation. It was later recognized as an official character by Crypton Future Media, who licensed the character from Ryūsei.
