Nana Mizuki Named Ehime Prefecture's Image Girl

Famed Japanese singer and voice actress Nana Mizuki has recently been appointed as the Image Girl of Ehime Prefecture in Japan. Representing her hometown of Niihama, Mizuki's new status will be used in various media to advertise a local bank of the area. This will be done through over-the-counter posters, pamphlets, TV commercials and the bank's online homepage featuring her image. She is also set to write a theme song for the bank to use in its commercials that she says will be "geared towards new workers in changing environments as well as regular students in a spring-like and inspirational way."
These ads are planned for release in late June.
Mizuki is well known for her music, with her newest single—Angel Blossom, the opening theme for Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid—being released this month. She is also famous for her voice work such as the aforementioned anime as Fate T. Harlaown and Hinata Hyuuga from Naruto.
Recently, Mizuki's image has been featured in the form of a life-size wall sticker offered in a contest from Calbee snack manufacturers.
