Show By Rock's Plasmagica Gets Their 1st Fashion Endorsement

One of Midi City's hottest bands is looking rather fashionable now.

Sanrio's popular mobile game-turned-anime Show By Rock!! is collaborating with fashion designer Cynthia Rowley for a brand new line of clothing. Each new piece is modeled after and for a different member of Plasmagica, the pop rock band and main protagonists.

Cyan, the shy-but-talented guitar/vocalist of the group, can be seen sporting a lovely pink one-piece dress featuring a frilly skirt.

Imprinted all over the chest area and skirt are little heart guitars, notably Cyan's effeminate talking guitar, Strawberry Heart. This simple yet cute design fits Cyan perfectly, and is sure to make a statement as loud as Cyan's playing.

The dress costs 42,120 yen (about US$339) and also comes in blue. An individual skirt is also available in pink and blue for 24,840 yen (US$200).

Also modeled for Cyan is a special parka. This loose, comfy number is fitted with a lace at the chest and two "cat-ear" designs on the hood. This piece costs 20,520 yen (US$165). It comes in both grey and navy colors.

Next up is the band's second guitar/vocalist and leader, the ambitious and determined Chuchu.

Her fashion comes in the form of a black one-piece dress.

Mature and casually elegant, this dress's side-ribbon lacing teases a dark blue layer accenting the dress quite well. A silhouette of Chuchu's "performance form" can be seen stitched into said layer.

The dress also comes in blue, with a white accentuating layer. This piece costs 28,080 yen (US$226).

Retoree, the emotionally-reclusive otaku bassist, has inspired an outfit rather similar to her in-show design.

Her own One Piece dress features her signature orange skirt under a lacy collared shirt similar to the average Japanese school uniform. Tied cutely around the lapel is a dark blue ribbon to emulate the red necktie that Retoree normally wears. The ribbon can even be worn as a necktie itself.

The dress costs 31,320 yen (US$251.92) and also comes in navy.

As a lover of all things adorable, drummer Moa would certainly wear this knit wool top like a badge of honor.

Made from a fluffy material, this striped knit top is comfortable to wear and soft to the touch. Sewn at the ends of the sleeves are bright yellow stars, perhaps an homage to Moa's lineage as an alien.

The sweater costs 24,840 yen (US$200) and only comes in blue. A complementary pair of blue knit wool shorts is also available for 20,520 yen (US$165).

An entire line of Show By Rock!!-inspired fashion items is set to be released, paying to tribute to several other bands featured in the game and anime.

A special grand opening event for a collaboration shop for Show By Rock!! fashion is opening at Isetan in Shinjuku on August 5.
