Color Version of 1 Million Yen Life-Size Lum Figure Revealed

Rumiko Takahashi's original alien girlfriend is being recreated as a life-size statue with supervision by Takahashi herself. A few teaser images of the prototype were shown last month. PALSHOP, Shogakukan's commercial site, is finally revealing all the goods with full-color images.

Lum's pedestal of stars features a handwriting print of Rumiko Takahashi's signature. Lum measures 164cm high (64.5in) and weighs 24kg with the base (52.9lbs).

Only 50 statues will be available for 1 million yen (US$8,207). Orders will open at noon (JST) on January 22.
