Take a Peek at Re:Zero VR App's Intimate Emilia Moments

Rem gets a lot of attention for being Re:Zero's fan-favorite character. The demon maid is the subject of tons of figures, some even life-size, and even the Oculus VR founder wants to put money down for more Rem. Fans seem to conveniently forget that Subaru has dedicated himself to the other girl in the series: Emilia.
What am I, chopped liver?
The "Life in an Alternate World With Rem in VR" smartphone app unveiled its Emilia version on Tuesday. Players can now snuggle up and sleep next to the neglected heroine while she feeds them apples. Voice actress Rie Takahashi recorded 24 new scenes for the application, including phrases for events and birthdays.
In the app's "Main" mode, Emilia lays down and speaks with the player. There's also a 360-degree "Appreciation" mode to view Emilia at a 1/1-scale.
The original app features the character Rem from the Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- light novels and anime. Gugenka released the original app in Japan for iOS and Android last month. The app is priced at 960 yen (US$8.70) and requires either iOS 9.0 or Android 4.4 and later.
The Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- anime aired from April to September 2016 for a total of 25 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. The anime is based on Tappei Nagatsuki and Shinichirou Otsuka's light novel series, which has over one million copies in print. Yen Press licensed the novels and spin-off manga.
