Voice actress Nana Inoue announced on Twitter on Wednesday that she gave birth to a healthy boy. Inoue said, "This is a report! I safely gave birth to a healthy boy on June 15 at 5:27 a.m.! Also, the two of us left the hospital today! I was supported and able to do my best from all of the help and encouraging words from everyone before the birth. Thank you very much!"
Inoue also said she had to spend a few days recovering after giving birth, but she feels good and was able to tweet and do other things without incident. She noted that June 15 is the birthday of both The [email protected] Cinderella Girls character Hajime Fujiwara and Momokuri character Yuki Kurihara. In addition, the day is Chiba Citizens' Day, and the voice actress is from Inzai, Chiba. Inoue is happy her son was born on a good day together with the anime characters.
Mitsuhiro Ichiki, Inoue's husband, also commented on the birth on Twitter. He said, "I became a father," and he is glad that both his wife and son were able to leave the hospital safely.
Inoue and Ichiki announced their marriage in 2015. The pair played the main roles Rika and Haruo in Magikano. They both also voiced characters in Gust's Atelier video game series.
Inoue's other anime roles include Haitai Nanafa's Lana and Tsuyokiss - Cool×Sweet's Otome Kurogane. Ichiki's other anime roles include Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru's Yasusada Yamatonokami and Maria Watches Over Us' Yūki Fukuzawa.
