Meowth Prepares for Trouble at Build-A-Bear Workshop

Following in the footsteps of a Squirtle, who debuted as a plush at the chain in June, the newest member of Build-A-Bear Workshop's Pokémon line is Meowth. Build-A-Bear Workshop began offering Meowth as a plush on Thursday.

The Meowth set exclusive to the retailer's online shop includes Meowth, a Quick Ball hoodie, a Team Rocket hoodie, an online-only sound chip with six Meowth sounds, and an exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game card for US$60. The Team Rocket hoodie features small silhouettes of Jesse and James alongside Meowth. Meowth is also available separately for US$28, and a Quick Ball hoodie is available for US$12.50. Build-A-Bear Workshop is only selling the Team Rocket hoodie online, but the Quick Ball hoodie is available online as well as in stores.

Pikachu debuted as the first Pokémon at Build-A-Bear in 2016. Eevee and Charmander plush both went on sale last year. The chain's other items inspired by Japanese works include Sonic the Hedgehog and Power Rangers.
