posted on 2018-12-01 18:45 EST by Lynzee Loveridge

A magical girl is joining the ranks of the smartphone/PC (browser) tie-in game The Girl in Twilight. The characters of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card as well as costumes were added to the game on November 26 as part of the "Sakura to Akanesasu Yume no Daibōken" in-game event.

Sakura, Syaoran, Tomoyo, and Kero-chan make appearances in the game and both Sakura and Syaoran are voiced. The Girl in the Twilight character Asuka wears one of Sakura's battle costumes during the campaign.

The Girl in Twilight mobile game features an original main character named Nagi (voiced by Maaya Sakamoto). Nagi searches for her sister in the parallel world. She has led a difficult life in a cruel world, and cannot relate to the normal lives of Asuka and the others. She begins to open up to Asuka and her friends as she travels with them.

The anime premiered on October 1. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime, and HIDIVE is streaming the series as it airs. HIDIVE is listing the anime with 12 episodes.

A Cardcaptor Sakura exhibit recently opened in the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills and will run until January 3.
