Rock Band Macaroni Enpitsu Teams Up With Manga Creator Makoto Ojiro

The rock band Macaroni Enpitsu (lit. Macaroni Pencil) teamed up with manga creator Makoto Ojiro to create a music video for their single "Enshin" (Centrifuge). The band's video features art from Ojiro's manga Kimi wa Hōkago Insomnia (Your After School Insomnia) and the song carries the same themes as the manga series about two high school students who both suffer from insomnia. Together they begin renovating the school's observatory that has turned into a storage space.
Ojiro began serializing the series in Weekly Big Comic Spirits earlier this year. They previously serialized Neko no Otera no Chion-san in the same magazine and it ran for nine volumes.
The four-member Macaroni Enpitsu formed in 2012 and their September mini-album season reached #5 on the Oricon charts.
