Modern ninja tale to premiere in Japan on April 6

The Orcavision production company has posted a promotional video for the Nabari no Ō television anime series to mark the official anime website's grand opening. The company showed this video at the Comic Market Winter 2007 event in Tokyo at the end of December. Director Kunihisa Sugishima (Speed Grapher, Yu-Gi-Oh!) and J.C. Staff adapt Yuhki Kamatani's manga about a boy named Miharu who unknowingly possesses an ancient "Omnipotent" power. Two ninjas — who happen to be his English teacher and a classmate — and a female samurai protect Miharu and his power from a rival clan. The first seven compiled manga volumes have sold 1.14 million copies, and the anime series will premiere on April 6 in Japan.
