The animeanime.jp news website reports that the TV Tokyo broadcasting station and Crunchyroll video-distribution website are aiming to register over 40,000 online subscribers in three years. The partnership's Anime Membership subscription program registered over 10,000 users within its first three weeks with Naruto, Gintama, Skip Beat!, and other TV Tokyo programming.

The 34 full members include Aniplex, Gainax, Gonzo, Satelight, Sunrise, Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions, GENCO, Studio Ghibli, Tatsunoko Production, Tezuka Productions, Toei Animation, TOHO, TMS Entertainment, Bandai Visual, Pierrot, Production I.G. and BONES.
